Psychology Services
Our experienced psychologists provide compassionate, evidence-based psychological support for children, adolescents, adults, and families. We work with clients experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and cognitive challenges, helping them build practical skills to improve their mental health, wellbeing, and quality of life.
These challenges might include:
- Anxiety
- Attention and executive functioning deficits
- Emotion regulation
- Social cognition
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
- Mood-related disorders
- Trauma
Bright Eyes psychologists are skilled in using evidence-based interventions, such as CBT, ACT and DBT, to address psychological concerns. Our clinicians are also accredited to provide the Cool Kids© Child Anxiety Program - a cognitive behavioural treatment program developed by the Centre for Emotional Health at Macquarie University.
You can see a psychologist at Bright Eyes:
- As a privately paying client (no referral needed)
- As an NDIS participant
- As a worker through the NSW Workers Compensation Scheme
- Through the Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Scheme
- With referral and a Mental Health Treatment Plan from a GP (this allows clients to claim a rebate from Medicare for up to 10 sessions per year)
- With a Psychological Therapy Services (PTS) referral from a GP (Blue Mountains clinic only)
